Abstract art is all about expression, freedom, and emotion. It’s not about perfection or representation: it’s about letting your inner world, your feelings, and your imagination flow onto the canvas, paper or where you want to put it. Through colours, shapes, textures, and layers, you can release tension, explore emotions, and rediscover the joy of creation without boundaries.
In this workshop, we’ll dive into a playful and liberating technique called “Paint Over.” Using materials like old music sheets, postcards, posters, sailing charts, photographs, or previous paintings, we’ll layer, cover, and transform them into something entirely new. This practice encourages boldness, challenges the rules of “right” and “wrong,” and gives you the freedom to explore your artistic instincts…
